Meeting The Master Gardeners
Guilford County Extension Master Gardener Association
I was fortunate to be able to meet with three of Guilford County's Extension Master Gardeners and share my Gold Award project with them and ask for their expert feedback. They shared so much information with me and really took an interest in what I was doing. The NC State Extension Master Gardenerâ„ program started in 1979. They are trained by NC State University’s faculty and staff. Since they started they have recruited, trained, and engaged people to serve as volunteer educators who deliver science-based horticultural knowledge to other North Carolinians. They help North Carolinians grow healthy plants, landscapes, ecosystems, and communities.
